BLUBRICKS : DRAMA for Kids (4-12yrs)
This course is a supporting English proficiency-cum-oral programme, designed to help students improve their pronunciation, speaking, discussion and conversational skills .

At the end of the course, the students will have acquired the following:
. Confidence to speak in English
. A wider academic vocabulary
. A better sense of English fluency and rhythm
. Ability to pronounce English words better
. Ability to talk on topics

Course activities include:
- voice development
- recreation of dramas from the past
- presentation of poetry and plays
- acting out characters and scenarios
- taking on leadership and responsibility roles
- solving problems

11 hours per semester, 4 semesters per level (year).
Classes are run once a week, one hour per class.
There will be a performance at the end of the year to showcase what the students have learnt. |

- Enrolment for New Students
New students may commence classes at any point during the term, provided there are suitable vacancies. However, they must complete the term.
- Method of Payment
Bills are presented once a term and are payable in advance.
Should parents request for monthly payments, a deposit of RM100 is required and refundable at the end of the school term. It is not possible to refund fees for the absence of students or for public holidays. However, there will be a refund if the lesson is cancelled because the teacher is indisposed.
- Notice of Withdrawal
Students wishing to withdraw from a school term should give a month's notice. The month's notice should exclude periods of extended absence, such as might occur during normal school holidays and periods when the centre is closed.

| Public Speaking and Presentation Course |

Learning from Presentation Skills will be both fun and valuable, as the skills are directly applicable in school, personal and daily lives ... after all, young people who present confidently are much admired by their peers and also by adults!
This course is conducted by Katrina Lau, who holds a Profesional Certificate in Effective Communication from Trinity Guildhall London. The syllabus follows that of Trinity Guildhall London.
The final session will be a Student Assessment (with parents in attendance). Each student will be evaluated on their progressive achievement of 4 criteria:

- SPEECH & VOCAL STYLE - delivery tones, emphasis, inflections, nuances
- CRITICAL THINKING - subject depth, clarity, relevance, objectivity
- RESEARCH - effort and resourcefulness in obtaining information
- ORIGINALITY - ability to evoke empathy and response, social skills
Upon successful completion of the 1st Brick (i.e. 1st Level !), students can progress into 2nd Brick, then 3rd Brick, and lastly 4th Brick.
