Marvin is an actor, presenter, teacher, and director; having roots in both the Malaysian and Singaporean arts scenes for a little over 8 years. He’s been busy. He co-founded The Electric Minds Project, a local theatre company and has a diploma in Speech & Drama from Trinity College London. His directorial notches include Lucy Kirkwood’s NSFW and David Wood’s The Fantastic Mr. Fox, in co-operation with JKKN and Kakiseni. As an actor, his credits include Indicinelive!, The Importance of Being Earnest, The Three Sisters, and Saladin, an animation produced by Al-Jazeera Children’s Channel and the Multimedia Development Corporation, broadcast on both Cartoon Network Asia and Qatar, netting an International Emmy Award nomination in 2011.

As a facilitator, Marvin’s main focuses are improvisation, ensembleship, script interpretation and dramaturgy. His influences include working with Complicite Theatre UK, David Mamet’s Practical Aesthetics, and his time working with local writers in scriptwriting workshops.
